As a Software Engineer at Anakin who drives potentially complex and innovative projects with flexibility to learn trending technologies. The work includes develop 'best fit' products / solutions / applications using latest web / mobile / big screen technologies and cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Design / code / document and test components / subsystems in an Agile-Scrum setup; adherence to established software development process and engineering practices.
  • Work closely with team to understand the needs and develop solutions for the same.
  • Ensure to release bug-free code; Take ownership of what's released as part of the Sprint.
  • Volunteer for items in Backlog and commit to quality delivery.
  • Co-ordinate efforts across the team to ensure completion and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Significant software engineering skills and computer science knowledge.
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment, while producing quick and quality output.
  • Ability to write, debug, and deploy code in a timely manner that is technically sound, performant, scalable, and readable.
  • Ability to perform peer code reviews in order to ensure quality standards.

Professional Experience:

  • 0 to 3+ years of experience in creating large, scalable systems with exposure to retail / e-commerce / healthcare / education / travel / cloud
  • Proficiency in one of the programming languages like Javascript / PHP
  • Proficient knowledge of React (or Angular) and NodeJs frameworks / libraries
  • Proficient understanding of object oriented programming, functional programming, RDBMS, ERDs, Software Architectures, Sequence Diagrams and APIs
  • Knowledge of Unix / Linux / SQL / NoSQL
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
